I think that concert is a tad bit small. The first one they did like that was some enormous arena just chock-full of screaming virgins waving glowstick-daikon.

Technically she’s spelled Miku, but I guess the first misspelling doesn’t really matter.

She’s famous. And is apparently busy earning PS Vita sales right now. And she isn’t even real . . .

The music’s always great, though. Considering the lack of an actual voice actor, it’s pretty amazing. Her next music game has nyan cat on it for some odd reason, but take what you get.

That would be awesome- being able to communicate with people with having to go to their house. Kind of useless, since you can just use the chat, but still awesome!

Well, it is already possible to do quite a lot with artificial voices, but it still lacks a good way to ad emotion to it, so it might take a while to see a real way for it, but 10 years is a very long time for technology.

They also though that in the year 2000, we would all have robots cleaning, making food etc and flying cars, so it can go both ways^^

Just remember people thought technology couldn’t create a craft the flies. And the telegraph was once hailed as the very peek of technology and nothing more could be invented.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we see fully artificial voices indistinguishable from human voices for both speech and song reading from just text or even using artificial intelligence within the next 10 years.

Waouh, it seems that holograms and other technologieshave advanced way more than the SF would have imagined.

As for the “artist won’t be real people”, well, I still don’t think technology can make a decent voice for singing, but it could be fun to use such programs.
