My money’s on some kind of development tracker: I think 1.1 came out, forcing Alblaka to polish what part of IndustrialCraft was ready, and post it even if it wasn’t feature-complete. But now that more time has passed, there might be 17 items left on Alblaka’s to-do list.
But that’s just my wildly guessing. It could be 17 days left till a birthday, or maybe in 17 hours it will be the anniversary of IC’s original release, or maybe there are only 17 crops left to program.
Or maybe Alblaka has had a premonition and only has 17 days left to live.
Oh that’s so wonderful. With SMP broken I haven’t even created the FIRST crossbreed plant yet, and 17 of them are left to be discovered ~.~

Nah, If I’m not mistaken IC1 was released at the end of february. So should be about 30 days left til the first birthday. Maybe he started working on IC1 earlier, so might be the birthday of the first IC1-work.

i don’t see the fascination in implementing computers inside computers. wiremod in gmod, computercraft is nice, that abortion eloraam is creating. ugh
It’s not about computers in computers, we can already run a few vm’s recursively. It’s about having more powerful control over operations, which can be a good thing in mods like these.
Also, I don’t think ‘abortion’ is the word you are looking for (although this is worthy of becoming meme/slang) maybe it was ‘abomination’ or ‘abberation’ ?

We have IC2 on our server along with NEI, END chest, smart movement and RP2.
All our Items that run on energy (drill, chainsaw etc.) are depleted after one use, they deplete also your lap pack if you have any.
Could it be we did something wrong? Or is it a bug?

Junkfood’s not actually a real guess, but imagine the possibilities— your own junkfood chain, (I can see it now…cy9’s burgers – open 24/7) using trade-o-mats to get coins for burgers, then if you eat too many burgers, you get “stuffed” and can’t really move (a slowdown potion)

this could be unrelated but chargeable items from 1.00 to 1.10 read as fully charged but are actually empty and simply need a new recharge.
